2.7 Kelvin is intended to be the branding identity associated with my cinematography and video work. It was originally conceived to be the branding identity for only my portfolio on Vimeo, but has also subsequently been used on YouTube. 
2.7 Kelvin, ( -270 degrees Celsius ) is the average temperature of deep space. Given my interest in Sci-Fi the use of this distinct temperature seemed fitting. 
As for the logo, I found myself watching microscopic footage of snowflakes forming and was immediately set on both the design and process.
I designed the full logo first, then retro actively animated the title sequence. It follows the principal of water boiling before it would freeze in the vacuum of space due to the lack of pressure, with some artistic licensing taken.

In summary, if I were to have a logo, this would be it.
